‘Damages’ Becomes a Corporate ‘Queen’

In a premise that seems eerily like Damages set in the corporate world, Ryan Murphy will be launching his second project under his exclusive multi-year deal with Fox. The first project, an FX series titled 4 o.z. is about a family man who decides he’d like to have a sex change.

The latest endeavor, Queen B, will air on Fox and focuses on a ruthless woman who takes over as a CEO in the modern world of business and her corruption of a new hire — a young girl. Given the stellar ratings and critical acclaim for Damages, copycatting the story is likely a savvy business move.

As of yet, no casting decisions have been made, but rumors indicate there are several high profile actresses interested.
