After five years, Hannah Storm is exiting CBS’ morning entry, The Early Show. “Hannah has done excellent work for The Early Show and has been a primary reason that the broadcast has stabilized and is so well positioned for the future,” CBS News President Sean McManus said. Storm expects to surface in another role at the network. She has co-anchored the morning show with Harry Smith and Julie Chen since 2002, when she jumped from NBC after spending 10 years as a sports reporter. Variety notes this is the first major change in the show since new executive producer Shelly Ross arrived and “preps for an unofficial Jan. 7 relaunch of the show.”
