Photo Of The Day: Rae Shines A Light

Last night “Le Cycle 13″ of America’s Next Top Model kicked off with a petite bang, breaking traditional industry boundaries by only allowing girls 5′7″ or shorter to compete.

But pint size frames didn’t seem to stop art director Jay Manuel from attempting to make models stand tall. Case in point: Rae, who had to don an uncomfortable pair of 8-inch heels - toe shoes, no less - for a photo shoot mimicking favorite childhood pictures.

The plus side of the discomfort? This hot shot - which Rae got best pic for - and major kudos from guest judge, supermodel Chanel Imam, who said she was going to “go home and practice this pose.”
