Wanna know who Jason Mesnick proposes to on The Bachelor?

handsomepete, a Canadian YouTuber who admits he clearly has too much time on his hands (and that despite hating the show, he’s hooked) has freeze-framed the series preview on a giant screen TV and declared to the world that he has figured out who Jason’s pick will be.

After scrolling through the preview frame by frame, handsomepete sees a tell-tale sign when Jason drops to one knee: a gold pinky ring.

Being the natural sleuth that he is, and providing some funny running commentary, handsomepete finds the only prospective fiancee with a gold pinky ring…. Melissa!

Y’know, it makes sense. I’ve been covering the show for two weeks now and I saw some sparks flying between the two. And she is gorgeous, smart and funny to boot.

But don’t you think ABC could be setting handsomepete up? Wouldn’t they have all the ladies wearing a gold pinky ring somewhere along the way?

Red herrings… a producer’s dream!
