Clooney Prefers Rectal Exams to Facebook

George Clooney shot off a great one-liner during the Toronto Film Festival press conference for his new film Up in the Air with Juno director Jason Reitman, co-starring Vera Farmiga and Jason Bateman. “I would rather have a rectal examination on live TV by a fellow with cold hands than have a Facebook page,” he said. That’s a pretty strong opinion, although we know Clooney is a pretty old-school cat. Despite that, he’s playing a very modern kind of businessman in Up in the Air - the kind that seems to live at airports with all the travel he has to do. In fact, he’s a human resource administrator closing in on his one millionth frequent flyer mile.
