First Look at Jake Gyllenhaal in ‘Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time’

Disney’s next swashbuckling sort of high-adventure franchise starts next May with the release of the video game adaptation Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, starring Jake Gyllenhaal in his most mainstream movie yet, taking on the mantle of action star. He’ll be playing Dastan, a young prince with a lust for adventure who discovers an artifact that, with the help of Bond Girl Gemma Arterton, has to be kept from a tyrant who wants to use it as a weapon against humanity. Ben Kingsley and Alfred Molina also star in this tentpole. Check out the new trailer below.
