This Sundance favorite is a very unique and different take on the topic of love, which makes it only a quasi-romantic comedy, but definitely something to see. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is Tom, a devastated greeting-card writer who has just been dumped by Summer (Zooey Deschanel), reflecting on their doomed but strongly affecting relationship and trying to make sense of how he came to love a girl who didn’t believe in the concept, how it all fell apart and how he can possibly win her back.
