Katie Holmes Gets ‘Romantic’

Katie Holmes is stepping in for Liv Tyler in the indie comedy The Romantics, as well as taking on an executive producing role in the film directed by Galt Niederhoffer from her own novel adaptation. Holmes will be playing Laura, the maid of honor for Anna Paquin’s Lila, even though both of them have a past with the groom (Josh Duhamel). It looks to be an interesting ensemble cast that also includes Elijah Wood, Malin Akerman, Adam Brody and Jeremy Strong.
