On Demand Today: Ugly Truth, Merry Gentleman

Comcast On Demand today debuts two new films - the crass rom-com The Ugly Truth, and the subdued, unique holiday drama The Merry Gentleman, a Sundance Film Festival hit that marked the directorial debut of the great Michael Keaton, from whom we all should hope to see a lot more. Katherine Heigl is an uptight morning show producer who is forced to deal with a new and crude commentator (Gerard Butler), which escalates into a classic battle of the sexes and inevitable romantic tension.

The Merry Gentleman
Michael Keaton stars in his directorial debut as a quiet, dour and suicidal assassin who somehow manages to form an awkward bond over the holiday season with a very private woman (Kelly MacDonald) on the run from her past.
