Briana Evigan in "Sorority Row" (Summit)
Opening: “Sorority Row,” “Whiteout,” Tyler Perry
Opening in theaters everywhere today, following the Wedensday release of the dark animated thriller 9, are three films with scary themes of their own. Sorority Row, of course, features a murder spree against a coven of selfish college girls, and Whiteout is a murder mystery unfolding in the unforgiving frozen wasteland of the South Pole. Then there’s Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself, which features the cantankerous Madea, who can be scarier than anything a horror movie can conjure up.
