Won’t somebody think of the children? Hollywood generally does, because family movies are often big hits thanks to parents who want to shut their kids up for a couple of hours - and because Pixar never stops being great. Check out what the youngsters are going to bug you to see starting in May.

.

Up
It’s Pixar, the one reliable source for quality entertainment every year. This time around, we get the tale of crotchety old Carl Fredericksen (Ed Asner), who harnesses the power of helium balloons to take himself, his house and an unsuspecting Boy Scout on a magical journey to Africa in search of adventure, and he gets more than he bargained for.

.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
Diego (Denis Leary), Manny (John Leguizamo) and Sid (Ray Romano) are all back and still on the edge of extinction. But Manny and Ellie (Queen Latifah) are expecting a baby, which makes Sid start to wish for a family of his own, and Diego start to wonder if he’s lost his edge. Plus, there’s a new question in our acorn-sniffer’s life - must Scrat love?

.

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian
Security guard Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) and all his historical personalities come-to-life are back, and this time he has to infiltrate the famous Smithsonian museum to rescue Jedediah (Owen Wilson) and Octavius (Steve Coogan). Along for the ride are Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams), Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams) and Kah Mun Rah (Hank Azaria).

.

Imagine That
Eddie Murphy is a financial executive whose daughter starts to manifest a strange ability to divine inside business information to help his career, which in turn makes him realize that his most important job is being a father.

.

G-Force
The government has a highly-trained secret squad of guinea pigs, bugs, moles and other animals who are charged with saving the world from an evil billionaire with his own mechanized army. Featuring the voices of Nicolas Cage, Tracy Morgan and Steve Buscemi, and the faces of Will Arnett, Bill Nighy and Zach Galifianakis.

.

Shorts
Robert Rodriguez is back in Spy Kids mode with this fun flick about a weird suburban town called Black Falls, where a kid who is being bullied by a girl and her stooges finds a magic rainbow rock that grants wishes… and he wishes for all sorts of awesome and weird things, like big robots, little aliens and everything else a kid might wish for.
