Jeremy’s Grievances
Entourage’s Jeremy Piven attended a grievance hearing at the request of the producers of ‘Speed the Plow,’ the play that the actor quit in December due to mercury poisoning. No agreement was reached by either party, and Piven’s rep issued the following statement: “Mr. Piven is hopeful that the producers will ultimately recognize that he did the right thing by listening to the instructions from his doctors … who told him to stop the play immediately and undergo enforced rest, rather than continuing to perform and risk dire health consequences.”

Gossip Girl: The New Class
Brittany Snow has been cast to play a younger version of Lily van der Woodsen (Serena’s mother, played by Kelly Rutherford) on the new Gossip Girl spinoff. The series is set in Los Angeles in the 1980’s, so expect a lot of hairspray, Ronald Reagan and Culture Club. The pilot for the spinoff will air as a Gossip Girl episode on May 11.

Goop’s Gwyneth
Gwyneth Paltrow is speaking out over allegations that her website, Goop, is anything but helpful to women, after the New York Times published a scathing review of the website, accusing it of being elitist. “I think the people who are criticizing it or criticizing the idea of it, don’t really get it, because if they did, they would like it,” she said this week. Gwyneth recently went on Oprah to showcase her workout routine (along with her trainer) and to share her food and health tips.

Kimora Gets Kept
Life in the Fab Lane’s Kimora Lee Simmons can now expect a whopping $40,000 a month in child support payments from her ex-hubby Russell Simmons. He also threw in a brand new car for children to use until they turn 16 - one that is required to cost over $60,000.
