I’m still a bit dazed from last night’s loooong (as to be expected) Oscars ceremony. I think I was so dazzled by the Swarovski crystals that they wound up in my dreams! I’m curious to hear what everyone’s favorite moment was from the telecast. Mine was definitely the short piece introducing the Best Documentary Feature nominees, created by documentary legend - and one of my favorites - Albert Maysles. Variety also gave the piece top marks, saying it “played well” during the show.

While I go grab a Big Gulp-sized coffee, take a look at some things grabbing my attention today:

FIRST LADY TRIPPLEHORN:

Big Love star Jeanne Tripplehorn, who stars as Jackie O. in HBO’s upcoming remake of the Maysles brothers classic Grey Gardens discusses her role as the former First Lady in this interview. Apparently she’s been approached to play Jackie O several times throughout her career.

IT’S SO HARD TO SAY GOODBYE:

What did you think of Conan’s final show on Friday? I thought it was a good move bringing Andy Richter back to reminisce, and actually found his heartfelt last few minutes pretty touching.

REAL GOSSIP:

It was only a matter of time, but Bravo is working on a reality version of Gossip Girl.

NERD ALERT VIDEO:

Ever wonder what news anchors do during commercial breaks? These two at WGN in Chicago want you to know.

ART IMITATING GAME SHOWS:

Artist Sarah Horton took some time to embroider a woman winning $10,000 on The Price Is Right. Where’s Plinko?!
