Tuned In: What’s Hot In The World Of TV

Showtime has another big hit on its hands. ‘Nurse Jackie‘ increased its audience in Week 2, with just over 1.1 million viewers. This marks an increase from last week’s series premiere of nearly 10 percent - and shows the network made a good move with the quick season 2 renewal after last week’s premiere.
What’s Hot: True Blood
The second-season premiere of HBO’s addictive vampire series ‘True Blood‘ was lapped up by 3.7 million viewers Sunday night, setting a series high in viewers. It was also the most watched program on HBO since the finale of ‘The Sopranos‘ two years ago. When a later replay is factored in, the total audience for the premiere Sunday night is just over 5 million. The season finale for last season netted almost 2.5 million viewers, so the increase this year is quite substantial. And thank God Lafayette is alive!
