Anna Nicole Smith’s Former Boyfriend Arrested

In a startling turn of events in the Anna Nicole Smith case, police have arrested her former partner/lawyer Howard K. Stern along with her doctor, Sandeep Kapoor, on Thursday night. They were booked under the charge that they illegally furnished the drug-addicted actress with prescriptions - possibly totaling in thousands of pills. Stern, charged with three felonies, was later released.

The former Playmate was found dead from a purported overdose at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida in 2007, one year after her son Daniel passed away in the Bahamas. Her daughter is now in custody of her biological father, Larry Berkhead.
