Beyonce Will Sing for the Obamas’ First Dance

Beyonce just got her wish—to sing for the newly elected president. On next Tuesday’s inauguration night, Beyonce will belt out a tune during Barack and Michelle’s first dance.

According to the AP, the Presidential Inaugural Committee won’t spill the beans about which song she’ll sing. “It is our hope that we can keep the song secret until the moment,” spokeswoman Linda Douglass said.

Beyonce joins a slew of other performers, including her husband Jay-Z, will.i.am, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Shakira, Sting, Faith Hill, Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonder and Maroon 5. Sounds straight out of Barack’s iPod playlist!
