Big Screen ‘Baywatch’ Comedy in the Works

Bigger screen, smaller bathing suits?

‘Baywatch‘ the movie is officially in the works and, in case there was any question, it will be a comedy.

Fitting, as the iconic ’90s TV series has always been prime spoofing material.

The plotline, according to new screenwriter and director Jeremy Garelick (’The Break Up), revolves around “two unlikely lifeguard candidates trying to catch on alongside the buff bodies that will be as abundant in the film as they were in the TV series.”

Since no one can rescue Hollywood from its rampant remakes bender, also look for big-screen versions of ‘T.J. Hooker’ and ‘The A-Team‘ in a theater near you…sometime.
