CBS Orders Four New Dramas
While the official announcement is tomorrow, it is being reported that four new dramas have been ordered by CBS, with three being produced by CBS Television Studios.
‘The Good Wife,’ stars Julianna Margulies as a politician’s wife who decides to pursue a career as a defense attorney; the inevitable ‘NCIS‘ spinoff, starring LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell as L.A.-based investigators and ‘Three Rivers,’ which centers around donors and recipients of organ transplants features ‘Moonlight’s’ Alex O’Loughlin. All three come from CBS’ in-house studio.
The network also surprised a few by adding Warner Bros./Bruckheimer TV’s ‘Miami Trauma,’ to the fall slate as it was understood the network was interested in picking up only one medical drama for the fall.
