Celebrity Rehab Gets Second Season Of Addicts

It’s official: in a press release today VH1 announced plans for the 2nd dose of Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew. So who’s ready to detox? Here’s the lineup:

1) Jeff Conaway: The first season star is back and attempting to break his reliance on back pain meds.
2) Sean Stewart: He’s Rod Stewart’s son. Any questions?
3) Amber Smith: She’s a former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model. Any questions?
4) Nikki McKibbon: The former American Idol contestant also fessed up to being a former stripper. Any questions?
5) Rodney King: King already has a stint in rehab under his belt for a laundry list of addictions including drugs & alcohol. His most recent brush with the law was in 2003 when Cops chased him down on a suspected DUI, resulting in him smashing his SUV into a house.
6) Steven Adler: He was kicked out of Guns N’ Roses in 1990 for being unable to clean up his act, and is still trying.
7) Tawny Kitaen: The Surreal Life star has battled with prescription pain killer addiction for years, and has a 2006 cocaine bust on record. Gary Busey: Although the star is purported to have remained sober for the past 13 years, this year’s Jennifer Garner Academy Awards pre-show incident seems to speak otherwise, right? Either way, Busey will be waiting in the wings to provide “support” for the rehabbers.

Despite rumors, there will be no Aaron Carter or Hollywood Madam Heidi Fleiss appearances. Celebrity Rehab 2 is slated to premiere in October on VH1. In the meantime, why not watch these videos about the experiences on the first season?
