Comedy Central Acquires ‘30 Rock’

‘30 Rock’ will head to Comedy Central in 2011.

The network has acquired rights to the popular series from NBC Unviersal Domestic. It will air five seasons begining in the fall of 2011.

“Pound-for-pound, ‘30 Rock’ is one of the funniest shows on television and a perfect DNA match for our viewers,” said senior VP of program strategy progamming David Bernath.  “This is a tremendous acquisition for COMEDY CENTRAL and we can’t wait for Tina, Alec, Tracy and the rest of the gang to join our line-up in 2011.”
