It’s officially the end of an era. When Conan O’Brien makes his move on June 1 to replace Jay Leno at the Tonight Show, he’ll be moving in to Jack Benny’s old haunts, rather than the legendary sound stage that Johnny Carson inhabited for 20 years after he moved the show from New York in 1964.

According to the NY Post Jay will be broadcasting his new prime time show from a remodeled stage inside the Burbank studio while Conan will be over at a completely rebuilt stage on the Universal lot where Mr. Benny spent his time and was most recently the home of Desperate Housewives.

Want tickets to the new Tonight Show? You’ll have to wait in line… along with every other fan who visits the shark tank at Universal’s theme park right next door.

The upside? Jay won’t have to find a new parking space!

Don’t miss the premiere of the new lineup on NBC, prime time to late night, when both shows launch in June.

We’ll be watching on Fancast!
