You can never have too much of a good thing. Case in point? Mike Myers. So how does Myers find the inspiration for all these good things he seems to keep producing? On a recent episode of Ellen, The Love Guru star claimed the idea for his character Guru Pitka came to him after reading a bunch of Deepak Chopra books following his father’s death in 1995, and that most characters, including Austin Powers, were inspired by his Liverpudlian papa. So what’s up next? The Canadian funny man is helming the host post on Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards, and be on the lookout for a Jun 15 Saturday Night Live retrospective saluting his 6 groundbreaking years on the show.
