‘Dancing’ Football Star Lawrence Taylor Arrested

NFL Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor was involved in a hit-and-run Sunday night and was arrested in Dade County, Fla., for “leaving the scene of an accident/property damage,” reports TMZ.

The 50-year-old ex-’Dancing with the Stars‘ contestant reportedly hit a van twice with his Escalade on a Florida freeway, causing the other vehicle to hit a barrier four times before coming to a stop in the opposite direction, according to TMZ.

Police caught up with Taylor in a parking lot and say he showed no signs of drugs or alcohol use. He was booked and released on $500 bond.

Taylor, whose game of choice these days is golf, appeared as a contestant on Season 8 of ‘DWTS,’ where he was paired with Edyta Sliwinska and was eliminated in the seventh week.
