She’s at it again! Ellen DeGeneres loves matchmaking and her newest victim is Anne Hathaway. On today’s episode of the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the talk show host cornered Hathaway on her love life. When the actress wouldn’t spill who she’s seeing, DeGeneres offered up her own services.

“If you need someone, I will find you a boyfriend. I’m really good at it.” She said. To which Hathaway replied, “Did you see how nervous I just got?”

Luckily for her, Ellen’s plan for love is no-nonsense. “You don’t even have to date,” she tells Anne. “You can go straight to commitment.”

This is hardly the first time Ellen has tried to meddle in the love lives of her guests. Past victims included Jim Carrey, Jennifer Aniston, and Ryan Seacrest.

But maybe a set-up isn’t such a bad thing. Hathaway hasn’t exactly had the best taste in men seeing as her last boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, was just arrested for fraud.

Hathaway opened up about it and acknowledged, “Good things come from it. I feel like the whole experience made me so much closer to my family. I feel like I’m a better friend, because I had to receive so much love in 2008, so I really understand what it is now to give it. It was really a transformative experience in a lot of good ways,” she said.

And now she can laugh. The bust-up even served as inspiration for an opening monologue when she hosted Saturday Night Live. After breaking up and breaking down at a friend’s house she said she was “sobbing, and I look up and I started laughing and said this is going to make a great opening monologue on SNL. So then, two weeks later I got the call that I was going to be on SNL. I was like … I’m going to laugh first, and nobody is going to be able to laugh at me, and eventually it will just be something that happened to me and now it is. I’m so thrilled,” she said. “2008 was the year I learned to have a sense of humor about everything. At this point I would just like him [next boyfriend] to be law abiding.”

Sounds like a brush off for Ellen, which means, future single guests beware – you’re next!
