Ellen DeGeneres Eyes Life After Talk Show

Ellen DeGeneres is under contract on her show through 2010, but since marrying girlfriend Portia de Rossi last August, the daytime host may be eyeing talk show afterlife -and farm animals that don’t dance better watch out.

“I don’t need to be on camera,” she told Ladies Home Journal, in their latest edition. “I’m not a workaholic. I love to spend time with my wife, my family, my animals,” she said. “We’re looking for the right place to have a farm. Someplace like Massachusetts or Nantucket, with seasons. We could get an 1800s farmhouse with land and rescue animals. Then I’m done.”
