‘Family Guy’ Makes Fun Of Marlee Matlin & She Strikes Back

‘Family Guy’ has never been the most politically correct series on television, but this Sunday’s ‘Seth and Alex’s Almost Live Review’ took it to brand new heights - with surprising guest stars.

One of the show’s objects of many jokes has been Marlee Matlin, the deaf film and television actress who MacFarlane and the gang mock for the way that she speaks.

During a bit on last night’s ‘Live’ show in which Alex Borstein (Lois, various other voices) sings Lady Gaga’s ‘Poker Face’ while impersonating Matlin, the deaf actress showed up and had a few choice words for ‘Family Guy.’

“I just want to say I’m a big fan of yours…and your book was so candid and so courageous,” Borstein said, having cut her skit short. “Shut up. You’re embarrassing yourself,” responded Matlin. “How about I do an impersonation of you.”

Which she does.
