Forest Whitaker To Announce Oscar Nominations Tomorrow

Fresh from his appearance at the Presidential Inauguration, actor Forest Whitaker will be breaking the big Oscar news tomorrow morning when he assists Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Sid Ganis in announcing the nominations for the 2009 awards.
According to UPI, Whitaker, who won the Best Actor award in 2006 for his portrayal of Idi Amin in “The Last King of Scotland” will lend his star power to the proceedings, which air at the god-awful hour of 5:30 a.m. PT on ABC from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
Among the most anticipated films and movie stars who may make the cut, here are the leading contenders:
