Fox is full of “Glee.” The network has picked up the hour-long comedy to air as soon as this spring. The show revolves around a high school music teacher trying to transform a lackluster glee club into a national powerhouse. As of today, 13 episodes have been ordered.
With creator Ryan Murphy (Nip/Tick) at the helm, it’s sure to have the myriad of offbeat humor and characters. Just a few of those characters include a diva, a nerd, and a jock. No surprise there. The series will star Matthew Morrison who has appeared on CSI and Ghost Whisperer.
“Glee” will feature popular tunes that have been arranged for the choir to perform. How about a Fox crossover with an American Idol-themed show, where the glee club sings the stylings of Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Chris Daughtry?
