Glenn Beck Hospitalized With Appendicitis

Glenn Beck is navigating the American health care system today following a dose of appendicitis, reports the Huffington Post.

The illness came on suddenly while Beck was hosting his national radio show causing him to duck out early — later in the day Judge Andrew Napolitano filled in for Beck on his Fox News program.

Earlier this year Beck came under fire from ‘The Daily Show‘ as Jon Stewart pointed out old video clips of the Fox News host first praising then bashing the state of hospitals in this country.

Beck’s radio boss, Mercury Radio president Christopher Balfe, joked that “before going under Glenn asked the doctor to draw out the surgery procedure on a blackboard.”
