Jon Gosselin Countersues TLC

Jon Gosselin has countersued TLC for $5 million after the network sued him for breach of contract.

The father of eight “is likely to argue that TLC is preventing him from earning a living with a contract that is too restrictive,” reports Radar Online, which broke the story.

Gosselin was taken to court by the cable channel because he participated in business deals, media appearances and interviews that were not authorized by them - like his sit-downs with ‘The Insider.’

The contract suit will go to court December 14 for a preliminary injunction hearing. Michael Lohan and Jon’s ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman will also testify, and Kate Major has been served with a subpoena for a deposition.

Radar reports that Major, the former Star magazine reporter who claimed she had a relationship with Gosselin, is “very much looking forward to testifying against Jon in the breach of contract lawsuit.”
