Kelly Clarkson is taking heat over her new song ‘Already Gone,’ with critics suggesting that it’s too similar to Beyonce’s ‘Halo.’

But the ‘American Idol’ alum blames her songwriter Ryan Tedder for the mistake. Ryan Tedder who also wrote Beyonce’s hit.

Clarkson told a Canadian radio show that she confronted the writer  about the song similarities. “I don’t understand. Why would you do that?” she said to him. “No one’s gonna be sittin’ at home, thinking ‘Man, Ryan Tedder gave Beyonce and Kelly the same track to write to,’” she recalls saying. “No, they’re just gonna be saying I ripped someone off.”

She also suggested that the record company is releasing it without her consent, adding “It sucks, but it’s one of those things I have no control over. I already made my album. At this point, the record company can do whatever they want with it. It’s kind of a s*****y situation, but . . . you know, you learn.”
