Kourtney Kardashian’s New Kid: The Latest

We now know that 30-year old Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant, and we know the name of the father of her baby. But do we know what her family thinks of the new addition to the family?

“Everyone is so excited for this new journey in our life,” sister Kim told USmagazine.com on Wednesday. But she also suggested that it was a bittersweet moment. “It’s the first addition to the Kardashian clan, and we only wish that our dad could be here and experience this with us,” she said about her father, Robert Kardashian, who died from cancer in 2003.

“Everything like this, huge things that happen in our life, is a little bit bittersweet, but we’re all so excited.”

Does Kourtney think Kim is a little upset that she upstaged her? “I don’t think she’s envious,” Kourtney said of Kim on Ryan Seacrest’s 102.7 KIIS-FM on on Thursday. “Who knows though – Kim gets mad if I get the car that she wants … she like freaks out! [But] she definitely thought it was going to be her first, trust me.”

Scott Disick - the father - is said to be “excited, but I think he has his moments where he’s really scared.”

Kourtney also has spoken about the reason for her accidental pregnancy. “This sounds probably so dumb but there’s so many times I’ll forget to take my pill and just don’t think it’s that big of a deal,” she said. “I’ve done that several times and never really thought about it. It sounds so stupid.”
