Levi Johnston is fuming over a ‘Tonight Show’ stunt from Wednesday night in which William Shatner dramatically recited Tweets from Johnston that painted him to be a racist pothead.

According to TMZ, Johnston and his lawyer Rex Butler claim the Tweets - which read “Anybody know where I can get some good weed” and “Whats the deal with the taxi drivers not speaking English, is there a law against it?” - were completely bogus.

“We are in the process of dealing with Twitter first. I think they have an obligation once something like this happens to make some kind of corrective measure,” Rex told TMZ.

However, before O’Brien brought Shatner on stage, he assured the the audience the Tweets were “all real…we did not make these up.”

Recently Johnston has made headlines for announcing he’ll be posing in an upcoming issue of Playgirl, and for alleging on ‘The Early Show‘ last week that former mother-in-law to-be Sarah Palin called her son Trig - who suffers from Down Syndrome -”retarded.”
