Lipstick Jungle & My Own Worst Enemy Are Cancelled

Looks like the recession has taken its two latest victims: one movie studio mogul and one double agent. NBC has gotten cold feet and cancelled Lipstick Jungle and My Own Worst Enemy, starring Brooke Shields and Christian Slater, respectively. Both shows were victims of a slump in ratings, particularly after LJ was moved to Fridays (and metaphorically killed!). Expectations for Enemy were high, particularly for its unique angle and fantastic lead actor, but apparently this wasn’t enough. Both shows will be missed!
