Mark Burnett To Cast “Rock Band 2″ Via L.A. Craigslist Ad

Do you have the chops to be the next fake Rock Star? Do you and your mates live in the L.A. area? Do you regularly troll through the TV gig ads on Craigslist? If you answered yes, yes, YES! then you might have a shot as part of the cast for the new Mark Burnett project “Rock Band 2.”

According to Variety, Burnett has eschewed the traditional casting call venues for a blind item listing on the wildly popular classified marketplace for Generation ‘Net.

The Craigslist ad says, in part, “The creator of ‘Rock Star’ and ‘The Apprentice,’ along with MTV, bring you the first show based on the new game ‘Rock Band 2,’ which seeks “four people to form their own band and show us their stuff live on stage for the chance to win the Ultimate Rock Band Experience.”
