Melissa Rycroft Picks A Wedding Date

‘Bachelorette‘ star Melissa Rycroft let the world in on some big news - her hair cut. “Got four inches chopped off,” she wrote on her Twitter account (she also posted the above photo) earlier this week.

She didn’t expect other, even bigger news to get out - news that she and her insurance-agent fiance Tye Strickland are getting married on December 12.

That leak came courtesy of Us magazine.

“Upset someone leaked our wedding info,” she wrote Thursday afternoon.

According to Us, Rycroft, who was dumped in January by ‘Bachelor’ cad Jason Mesnick, has in mind a simple wedding. “I think small, we plan small,” she told the magazine after the news got out. “But whether it’s going to turn out the way we have it in our minds, I don’t know!”

Indeed, it seems some changes are already in the works. “”Having to replan, unfortunately,” she tweeted.

One thing seems certain: Rycroft’s former “Dancing with the Stars’ partner Tony Dovolani will be on the guest list.
