Melrose Place Reunion At The Emmys?

Rumors are swirling around The Emmys that some special appearances are in store for the 60th anniversary telecast on September 21. After announcing a ‘Desperate Housewives‘ presenting stunt and a Most Memorable TV Moments contest, the latest scoop is that the cast of Melrose Place will be coming back together.

It wouldn’t be the first time the cast of an iconic series was reunited at the Emmys. Two years ago the cast of “Charlie’s Angels” Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson appeared to pay tribute to the show’s creator, the late television giant Aaron Spelling.

The trick generated plenty of buzz and boosted ratings, so it’s one worth repeating. And let’s face it, the boys and girls whose lives centered around the apartment complex swimming pool at the fictional address are a lot fresher in the minds of its devoted fan base than the antics of the 3 foxy private dicks from the ’70s.
