NBC Pulls Plug On ‘Trauma’

‘Trauma‘ is out and ‘Chuck‘ is in on NBC as the network decided to ditch its new medical drama.

NBC will not extend ‘Trauma’ a lifeline beyond its original 13 episodes despite a recent boost in ratings, reports The Live Feed.

While ‘Chuck’ isn’t set to return until next year — there are rumblings it might premiere in January — the loss of ‘Trauma’ allowed NBC to order six more episodes of the spy comedy.

The loss of ‘Trauma’ — an expensive production — might come as a shock to viewers seeing how NBC scheduled three more episodes to air next month, according to E! Online.
