Now Jon Gosselin is accusing his soon-to-be-ex wife, Kate, of making improper withdrawals from their bank account.

This is the latest salvo in a divorce that gets nastier and dirtier every couple of days.

Last week, Kate filed for alimony. Prior to that, she accused Jon of cleaning out their joint bank account, a charge he denied.

Now comes word that Jon has filed court papers accusing Kate of tampering with their bank account.

He claims she “removed hundreds of thousands of dollars from the marital estate,” The Insider posted over the weekend on its website.

According to the report, Jon says she withdrew $60,000 between June 15 and September 15, a violation the terms of their divorce arbitration. In addition, he accuses her of failing to provide proper accounting of other transactions. He also claims she is hiding money from him.

“Jon seeks to hold Kate responsible for what he believes to be her contemptuous conduct,” Jon’s lawyer, Mark Heller, told The Insider.

Heller blamed Kate’s attorney, Mark Momjian for continuing “to make statements to the press about the litigation, and continues to aggressively disparage Jon.”
