Obama’s Super Bowl Appearance

The Super Bowl just got a whole lot more interesting for the non-sporty types. NBC has announced that Matt Lauer will sit down with President Barack Obama in what will be his first post-inauguration interview, taking place on February 2 during the show’s Pre-Game. The chat will be live.

This sounds like a great way to reel in the general population; dupe them into thinking they’ve tuned in to watch a little innocent game of football, and then practice the old switcheroo by suddenly giving them a dose of politics. That glib Lauer knows just how to play the game!
