Tonight officially marks the first night of what we like to call “the craziest week (in television) ever.” A week in which every single TV show you’ve ever cared about - or have been told you’re meant to care about from people like us - begins/recommences.

So what’s on tap this evening?

How about the premiere of the new season of Dancing with the Stars?

No, not a Melissa Joan Hart fan?

Then maybe the return of The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, Castle, CSI: Miami, or the two-hour Heroes and House “events” float your boat?

Let’s not forget the series premiere of Jenna Elfman’s latest, Accidentally on Purpose, either.

Oh, there’s also that other stuff you’ve already started watching, like Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, the Jay Leno Show and a little thing called Monday Night Football.

And of course if you’re of the night owl variety, you might want to stay up to watch President Obama on Letterman.

See? Aren’t you exhausted just reading that? Imagine how your poor DVR feels!

So what will you be watching? I recommend taking a peek at a sampling of previews from tonight’s new episodes and making an educated decision. Because let’s face it: no one will benefit from your DVR exploding before Grey’s on Thursday. No one.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER:

HOUSE:

THE BIG BANG THEORY:

HEROES:

CASTLE:
