News came out this week that NBC might resurrect the awful ABC reality show, “I’m a Celebrity–Get Me Out of Here.” How awful was 2003’s first edition? Jennifer Lopez’s long forgotten ex-husband Cris Judd was the winner.

Then there’s ABC, who just announced a new reality show called “Crash Course,” in which couples drive through an outrageous obstacle course (think “Wipeout” meets a demolition derby).

Now reality shows aren’t just getting dumber, they’re getting dangerous!

Though I admit to snickering at this description from one of the show’s producers:

“Our show is about the people, not the cars, and nothing brings out the worst in people than putting somebody in a passenger seat.”

And because Hollywood is full of copycats, there’s a similar auto-reality series also in the works; get more on that at The Hollywood Reporter.

So while we wait for those gems to hit the air, I thought it’d be a good time to break out a Top 20 List.
