Rumer Willis To Get Same-Sex Girlfriend On ‘90210′

It’s getting hot in ‘90210.’

Rumer Willis’ lesbian character, aptly named Gia, will snag a girlfriend on the series, and she’ll be a major catch - as in, a major character on the show!

But don’t think this is merely a stunt to boost ratings. “This isn’t a fling,” said executive producer Rebecca Sinclair to EW. “We’re coming at this [relationship] from a genuine place and not going, ‘Let’s do a titillating story that will grab some promotion.’ This is a real aspect of teenager life that’s interesting… And there’s been a real void in the 90210 universe in terms of gay and bisexual characters.”

So which one of the ‘90210′ hotties will get to smooch with the Willis offspring? None other than Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes), who has been having her own problems with current boyfriend Navid.
