Stars Dish On Simon Cowell’s 50th Birthday Bash

American Idol Judge and creator, Simon Cowell, may not seem like a lot of fun on the show, but he sure proved he knows how to party this past weekend!

According to Yahoo UK News, the crude judge hosted a lavish affair for approximately 100 people at Wrotham Park in Hertfordshire (near London).

Among those in attendance according to The Herald were Naomi Campell, Gordon Ramsey and Ryan Seacrest who tweeted about Simon’s mom Julie – who was the guest of honor of the evening. “The party was fun… Simon’s mom Julie was breaking it down late night!” he posted.

During the party, the Idol host also tweeted about the soup of the evening which spelled out Simon’s name - in noodles! - and even posted a picture. As for a gift, Ryan got him “a mirror with my picture hologram on it… Gag gift!”

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden tweeted, that she “had the best night at Simon’s party!”

Noticeably absent from the party was fellow judge Paula Abdul who has been sick. She tweeted a few days ago that her doctor said “no way” to flying overseas and that she was “bummed”. But she tweeted to Ryan before the party, “Have fun, wish I could make it.”
