Stephen Baldwin’s Defaulted Payments - House Put Up For Auction

Stephen Baldwin may be a celebrity, but he was still kicked out of his house.

The actor’s Rockland County, N.Y. home, foreclosed after he defaulted on more than $824,000 in payments to a mortgage company and did not pay property taxes, is being put up for auction, reports People magazine.

Baldwin, 43, who is currently in the Costa Rican jungle starring on NBC’s ‘I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here,’ attempted to sell the home in 2006 but could not find a buyer. He and his wife purchased it for $515,000 in 1997.

Despite the real-life setbacks and dozens of bug bites in the jungle, Baldwin’s strong faith has kept him in good spirits thus far on the reality series. “No matter what we have done or how bad we have been,” he wrote on his blog, The Breakthrough Ministry, “God can always and at any time turn your life around for the better!”
