‘Survivor’ Injury: ‘Scariest Moment Ever’

On Thursday’s episode of ‘Survivor,’ something happens that rattles the tribes–and even the usually calm, cool and collected host Jeff Probst.

The episode description released by CBS reads: “For the first time in Survivor history, the reward challenge is brought to an early halt by a medical emergency.”

And in perhaps a too-revealing promo that ran during Sunday’s ‘Amazing Race,’ we learned the victim is Russell Swan aka ‘good’ Russell. (Not the ‘bad’ Russell.)

We don’t want to spoil exactly what happens, or how it may or may not affect the outcome of the show, but here’s what Probst himself had to say about it:

“It was the scariest moment I’ve ever had on this show,” says the ‘Survivor’ host. “Nineteen seasons…I have never been more afraid in my life of how bad things were.”

If it tops Michael Skupin falling into the fire in the Australian Outback during Season 2, then that’s scary.
