Susan Boyle: ‘I Don’t Want It to End’

Susan Boyle’s still ‘Got Talent.’ And the singing sensation doesn’t want this ride to end.
Boyle appears on ‘The Today Show‘ Wednesday, July 22nd in her first interview since she became a worldwide phenomenon and finished second place on ‘Britain’s Got Talent.’
The pressures of the competition–and her instantaneous fame–have overwhelmed the 48-year-old Scottish woman at times. Boyle was hospitalized for ‘exhaustion’ after coming in as the runner-up on Simon Cowell’s British talent show, which she discusses during the interview.
“It’s just been unbelievable; it’s indescribable,” Boyle tells Meredith Vieira. “Being plucked from obscurity is a bit like going on a long journey, really; you don’t know what’s going to happen. You don’t know how it’s going to end.
“I don’t want it to end,” she adds. “It’s just really good.”
Boyle also features a new look in the interview and jokes, “I brush up quite well.”
A second portion of Boyle’s interview will air Wednesday night at 9 p.m. as a primetime tie-in to NBC’s ‘America’s Got Talent.’
