SVU Stars Money Demands Holding Up Production?

E! Online is reporting that ‘Law & Order: SVU‘ stars Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay may be on the chopping block.

Despite being the top rated ‘Law & Order’ of them all, NBC is said to be considering replacing the duo if they don’t simmer down their want for higher salaries.

NBC refuses to comment on talent negotiations, but various insiders told EW.com that, while L&O creator Dick Wolf has already inked a deal to bring SVU back for an 11th season, Hargitay and Meloni are playing hardball.

Their current contract pays Meloni and Hargitay each $350,000 episode - that deal ends in May.
