Tatum O’Neal Heading to ‘Rescue Me’ Bedside

During today’s Fancast Forum Denis Leary was kind enough to gave us the inside scoop as to just when the fiery Tatum O’Neal will be returning to the bedside of her husband on ‘Rescue Me.’

Leary was asked…

“You should bring Tatum O’Neil’s character back. She was perfect with the Gavin clan. Any plans for her to return?”

“Yes. Keep watching,” he replied. “She is electric this season. I think she shows up next week or the week after - really fantastic scenes with her and Sean in the hospital.”

O’Neal who plays Maggie Gavin-Garrity - the unpredictable sister of Tommy Gavin, played by Leary. Maggie is married to Sean Garrity - a firefighter in her brother’s firehouse who has developed kidney cancer - perhaps as a result of 9/11 rescue efforts.

Does this mean that Sean is not going to make it out of the hospital? We’ll have to see.
