Tina Fey Talks About New Season On “30 Rock” And Hints At Some Surprise Guests

In a move reminiscent of a David Letterman ploy to get Oprah Winfrey on his show a few years back, Tina Fey hints openly about her own desire to get the Queen of Daytime on the new season of 30 Rock. And, as it did for Dave, the move has apparently worked.

In this video clip on Access Hollywood, Tina discusses the plot lines for the new season and coyly lets it slip that she would love to have Winfrey on the show “just to hang out with her.” Now, according to a report by E! Online, Oprah will play herself in an episode slated to air November 6. The storyline involves an undisclosed feud between Jenna Maroney (Jane Krakowski) and Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) and will arc out over multiple episodes.

Jossip.com reports that Tina gets to flesh out her character with a November sweeps-week episode including Gossip Girl combatants Leighton Meester and Blake Lively. In the episode, Fey reveals a shocking bit of information via flashback mode: Liz was a Mean Girl herself!
